Goal 目的
希望培養小朋友對音樂的興趣，發掘他們的音樂潛能，熟習錄影的過程，建立小朋友對表演的信心。
Its aim is to bring hidden talents into the spotlight and to inspire and encourage children to take up a musical instrument.
Competition 比賽
參賽者需要準備一條5分鐘以內的音樂表演影片以YouTube連結提交，每一位参賽者可選擇一種樂器或聲樂演出。
Any musical performance of up to 5 minutes with an instrument or singing of your choice. Submission of video via YouTube link.
classes 組別
本比賽本比賽將設2組別: 5歲或以下 (2017 年 5 月 或之後出生)及8歲或以下 (2014 年 5 月 或之後出生)
There are 2 classes in this competition: 5 or under (born on or after May 2017) and 8 or under (born on or after May 2014).
Awards 獎項
頭三名可獲機會參與評審或音樂總監凌顯祐 “Meet and Play” 時間
另設有金(90分或以上) 銀(80-89分)銅(70-79分)獎
各參賽者均獲分紙，評語和參賽證書一張
Happy Gabby 書籍
First, second and third prizes will be awarded a “Meet and Play” session with Happy Gabby Music Director, Andrew Ling, or a renowned soloist of your instrument, to provide guidance and advice on their musical development.
Gold (90 or above), Silver (80-89), and bronze(70-79) prizes will be awarded to participants.
Each participant will receive certificates and score sheet with comments.

DEADLINE 截止日期
Early bird sign up is Wednesday, 15 March 2023 at $480. After which, the sign up fees is $550. Deadline for applications is Friday, 28 April 2023. Late applications may be rejected, and if accepted, be subject to a surcharge of $150 in addition to the event fee.

Terms and conditions 條款及細則
參賽者必須為八歲或以下之人仕 (2014 年 5 月 或之後出生) 。
Participants must be 8 years old or younger (born on or after May 2014)
如選曲附有伴奏，參賽者可選擇伴奏或無伴奏演出，而評判會根據參賽者的整體演奏評分。
If the selected piece requires accompaniment, participants have the options of having or not having accompaniment. Scores will be given mainly according to the overall playing by the participants.
除非在特殊情況下，否則不得更改名稱和有關表演者的資料。如需更改比賽日期或時間，請通過電郵遞交證明文件到art@p-a-l.hk。成功更改將收取$200手續費。
Changes may not be made to allocated names and information about performers, unless under exceptional circumstances. Please apply by email with supporting documentation to art@p-a-l.hk if a change to date/time is requested. Note that a $200 administration charge will be levied for successful changes.
每位參賽者只能於每一個組別報名一次。
Each participant can only enroll once in each class.
參加者必須依據是次比賽之要求如年齡限制、曲目要求及比賽要求等報名，違者將被取消參賽資格而不獲通知。

Participants should follow the competition requirements e.g. age, competition materials, etc. Participants who fail to do so will be disqualified without notice.
PAL 有權修改已公佈之比賽規則，其內容若有修改，將於活動相關網站公佈，一切資料均以網上最新公佈為準。
PAL reserves the right to make any amendments to the syllabus and regulations. Amendments, if any, will be posted on the official website. The latest version posted on the official website overrides the previous ones.
所有參賽者必須提供有效的電郵地址，一切比賽詳情會透過電郵通知。如收不到電郵通知，主辦單位恕不負責。
All performers must provide a valid email address as communication will be via email. The organisers will not be responsible for non-receipt of emails.
參加者在報名後不可轉名和轉組別。
Substitution of competitors, and/or changing of names and/or events, is not permitted after the submission of applications.
未能出席比賽的參賽者將被取消資格。
Performers who do not attend an event for any reason will be considered disqualified.
PAL 有權不接納任何逾期報名。
PAL has the right to decline any late submissions.
PAL 保留更改活動一切有關事宜的權利，恕不另行通知。
PAL reserves the right to make any amendments without notice.
除非此活動被取消，所有費用一經繳付，不論任何原因，一律不獲退回。
Unless this event is cancelled, no fees will be refunded, regardless of any reason.
一旦成功提交活動申請，參加者即同意其提交之影片可被PAL用作宣傳推廣用途。
By submitting the application, participants agree that their submitted videos can be used for promotional purposes by PAL.
參加者必須演奏報名表格揀選的樂曲，不能更改曲目。
Participants must play the music piece as listed in the application form, and no change is allowed.
計分統計與審核成績由PAL指派專職工作人員執行，評委團保留最終決定權。
Scoring and examination of the results are performed by assigned staffs appointed by PAL. The decision of the jury is final.
倘有任何爭議，保留最終之決定權，參賽者不得異議。
PAL shall be the final authority in resolving disputes. All final dispute resolution decisions shall be final and binding.
比賽結束後，如參賽者未能於2023年7月28日前親身領取其證書或禮物，參賽者必須支付快遞費用。於限期後，主辦單位將保留處置未領取獎證書/禮物的權利。
Certificates and prizes, if uncollected after the event, may be collected in person by no later than 28 July 2023, or a courier fee must be paid for delivery. After this date, the organisers reserve the right to dispose of uncollected certificate/prizes.
